I took both boards across with me as it looked as though there was only just enough wind, but it was picking up. I started off with the Stonker and 13m Strike, but even with the kite completely depowered I was still overpowered, so changed down to the smaller litewave board. That made quite a difference and even though I still had the kite at maximum depower I now felt farily comfortable most of the time and maxed out in the gusts.

Some nice jumps and some attempts at toeside riding, I don't think being in amongst the waves is the best place to learn to ride toeside. Made some massive jumps again as the wind picked up, and then got well and truly spanked when crashing from one of the big jumps. I now have a nice swollen ankle for my troubles! I managed to get back to my board and carried on for a bit, but then the wind dropped off so it was time to pack up and go home.

All in all a good session and about time as I haven't had a good kitesurf session for a while. I still seem to go downwind quite a bit in my jumps, but also seem to get quite a bit of height... I haven't worked out how to go straight up and back down yet! My landings aren;t great either.
